"My old man was a thief himself. He got killed the last time he ever got in trouble with the cops. Not wanting to get stuck in a crowded orphanage, and perhaps to get a taste of the thrill of committing crimes, I ran off and began stealing from gas stations. I then moved up from there."

So death of a family member and perhaps a fear of the unknown led to the beginning and eventual evolution of crime.

"Eh, got really close once, when I kidnapped the Eevee, which I think is a Leafeon now. It wasn't originally supposed to be the plan. It was a ransom so I can get some green paper from Destra. Imagine my surprise when she came along to fight me, not pay the ransom. Would've killed her sister if Destra didn't battle me."

So your crimes evolved from gas station robberies to kidnapping and attempted murder. Any additional stresser or was it just evolution for the rush.

"Just evolution."

"It was the first valuable thing I stole. Nabbed it from a human in zeal-Mart while she wasn't looking. The human was actually dumb enough to leave it on top of those soda freezers at check-out."
