Alice just stared at the spot where Ace was standing.

Yumi was in the cemetery, looking at Ami's grave.

*Jason, Jewel, and Jack all finally arrive at Whisper Headquarters which lies in the city not too far from the town Alice was taken to. They approach the large metal gate and fence, which is super high and sparking with electricity, surrounding the whole huge building. The guards pull out guns, pointing them at Jack*

Jason-At ease. He is with us and is no threat. We were sent out to retrieve him. One of the leaders is interested in having him join.

Jewel-Please let us pass. *the guards look at each other once before nodding and lowering their weapons. Jewel turns to Jack* Let's go. It's very late out. The streets are crawling with danger at night.

Jason-You will be safe in the headquarters. *the three of them walk in*

Yumi set yet another stuffed bunny on Ami's grave and began running when she heard footsteps from afar.

"They call me Nighthawk for a reason." Jack said, finally speaking after a very long silence from him. "I thrive in the night."

Yumi looked at all the possible directions she could go, she was already captured once and escaped, but she didn't want to go through that again. This thought crushed her, knowing getting kidnapped got Ami killed. She burst into silent tears and fell to her knees, on the edge of the graveyard.

*The three walk down a long hallway, people passing here and there*

Jewel-That may be so, but if we can keep anyone else from dying in this insane world, we will try.

Jason-Here's the elevator. We're gonna take you to a room to stay in. Unfortunately this place is pretty full, so you'll have to stay in my room with me. But don't worry. There are two beds in there and it's quite luxurious. *the first floor is covered in shiny marble and decorated with plush couches and chairs. they reach the elevator and the doors open to a plush carpeted elevator, decorated in a deep red*

(Yumi's PoV)
I wipe my tears on my dirty ragged clothing and walk on, passing an HQ of some sort.

Jack goes quiet once more and slowly nods his head.

I stared at the huge building, "Perhaps... they know who killed Ami?"

*the guards in front of Whisper HQ draw their weapons upon seeing Yumi*

Guard 1: Halt! No trespassers allowed! *they point their guns at her*

Guard 2: Move along. You have no business being here.

*inside the HQ, Jewel, Jason, and Jack board the elevator and Jason presses the button for the 30th floor. There are over 50 floors in the huge building*

Jason-The more powerful you are here, the higher your floor. Only the most powerful leaders get some of the top floors. And a few even get their very own floor.

Jewel-We will take you to Jason's room on the 30th floor, then proceed to check in with one of our leaders. After we receive whatever punishment is coming for us, we will gather you some food and extra medical supplies and clothes and bring them to you. Sound like a plan?

I nodded and walked on, hoping to avoid trouble.

"There is no need to worry of food or medical supplies." Jack said, his voice still not raising above a high whisper. "I've adapted to days without food to the point I do not feel hunger, and I contain no serious injury."

Suddenly, a group of men with multiple weapons ran after me.
