(Yep, to be honest that was Alice for a long time too but in this she hides her weakness with her fake 'im not afraid' attitude so no one hurst her.)
"Ill make sure he doesnt but i have one condition on this okay?" Alice stated, sitting on her knees in front of her.

"Y-yeah?" I mumble, slightly scared.

"You stay by me and dont go anywhere without me. I cant watch you if i cant see you." She stated.

I nod.
Ace overheard from another room. He walked back in and said, "Uh, we all have to go somewhere." He said.

"Where?" Alice asked, standing back up and fixing her black dress.

"Someone is going to ask you both a few questions." He said, "And he won't hurt you, he just needs to know. Trust me this one time, you'll be helping yourself survive."

Alice sighed and nodded.

After he took all of us to a large metal building, he directed us to the top floor. Ace left Alice and I in a huge office with a dark figure in a spinny chair.

"I'm supposing you both want to know why you're here...." He said, in a deep voice, yet very calm and sweet. "However, I was expecting one visitor.... My name is Shade, Shade Underling. I am the older brother to the twins Ace and Midnite.... I suppose you both know at least one of them..?"

Alice nodded. "I know Ace at this point, you guys could have been a little more, 'forgiving' in your ways of transportation.." She stated.

"Ah, I will talk to him about that..." Shade says. "But I have some serious questions to ask you, please, take a seat.... First, what are your names?"

"And how do we know this isnt gonna come back to bite us in the A**?" She asked.

"Trust me or not, believe me or not... It all depends if you want to keep your lives, or not..." He said. "You have your freedom, and if you choose to leave, it might end in the fault of death..."

I kept quiet.

"Im Alice." She stated hesitantly.
