Sprite Of The Week #1

Sprite Of The Week #1! I know I am not fit to run this contest but there is no one that is willing to run one - looking at Contest Account. Thulung has been bugging me for free Pokemon to run this contest. In order to let him participate in this contest, I decided to run it myself. I hope that Contest Account (not taking you for granted) or some others will take over Sprite Of The Week as I cannot afford to give out too many coloured Pokemon. Any donation is welcome and donated Pokemon will only be used for this contest, no personal profit is gained.

Spriting is a big part of Pokemon Creed. In the past, there is staff members who is specially hired to sprite promos. Many old Pokemon Creed player is equipped with spriting skills, DarkVortex (ex Creed spriter), xhinz, nephew34 and TamerzZ to name a few. We should now teach new members how to sprite in the hope to spread Creed to others. Sprite of the week will act as an incentive to encourage new players to learn spriting.

6 Jan 2016 - Competition start

Rules:

Two entries per person/IP.
Submit between the start date and end date.
Upload to a trusted and popular website like DeviantArt which will not delete old images.
Must be your own sprite - do not pay others to do it for you.
No ripping and stealing or sprites.

No, like jack said to Thulung, read the thread. It clearly shows the pokemon you should sprite for each week.

I know I saw, And I then figured not to be a part of this as I like to do whatever sprite I wanna do for contests and whatnot. I got the hint clearly and rather quickly. (In Otherwords, I thought this was a "Whoever has the best Sprite wins" Not a "Whoever has the best sprite of ____ wins." kinda thing.)

I understand. This is enforced to make the competition fair. The theme will change every week, so be sure to check out SOTW. You might find the theme to be your favorite style.

Also yeah I could see how that could be unfair, as, for example, if "Flowey the Flower" was the thing we had to do, Some people would be like this: [you must login to view images] (Omega Flowey does technically count as a sprite as it's from a pixilated game) and then someone did this: [you must login to view images] But then again, That could happen anyways.

Yes agree with you. Submitting of sprites have ended. Voting is will set up in a minute or two. Check #2 Post of this thread for instruction on how to cast a vote.
