[Guide] - A beginners guide to basics
Hello everyone!

As Creed has become more active over the past few months, I've noticed several new players who seem unsure about where or how to begin their Creed journey. I thought it would be helpful to recreate and update the Beginner's Guide.

This thread contains everything a beginner needs to know, including how to collect Colored Pokémon, the most effective ways to train, how to grind coins, and many other important guides. Be sure to read through everything, as each section contains vital information that can make your journey on Pokémon Creed much easier.

The link to the old, outdated beginner guide can be found here.

Other Guides

Here is a list of guides created by other members of the community.

How to find Coloured Pokemon

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

Here is a guide on how to find Cursed, Golden, Luminous, Rainbow, Shadow, Shiny and Ancient Pokemon in Pokemon Creed. To read this guide, click below to reveal its contents.

Spoiler:

Promo Center

As it stands, there is a handful of ways to obtain a coloured Pokemon. The first and easiest way to find yourself a Coloured Pokemon would be in the Promo Centre, however to purchase this you will need to spend the amount of coins and cash it requires to purchase the promo.

You can obtain the promo for 25% of cost price if you have an active supporter subscription.

Games Corner

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

Another easy way to obtain coloured Pokemon is by visiting the Games Corner. If you scroll down far enough, you will come across the various Luminous Starter Pokemon that are able to be purchased between 10,000 and 20,000 coins.
At the moment, only the starters from Generation 1 - 6 are available.

You can also purchase any of the Legendary Pokemon that are available with a small chance of receiving their Shiny versions

Maps

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

For now, you have a very small chance (1 in 13,000 chance) to encounter GoldenCharmander, GoldenCharmeleon and GoldenCharizard on the Wildeness Volcano map only. To encounter these you will need to have a Trainer Level of 10,000, 50,000 or 75,000 respectively. You can increase your Trainer Level by gaining exp.

[you must login to view images]

Shiny Pokemon can be found in a few places. The easiest way to obtain Shiny Pokemon would be on any of the Maps. Shiny Pokemon have an encounter rate of 1 in 300, you can also purchase a Shiny Charm from the Dept. Store for $3,750,000 and 7,500 coins which increases the encounter rate to 1 in 250.

Auction House, Wonder Trade & Pokemon Raffle

Auction House: Auction House is a system where you can deposit coloured Pokemon for other players to bid on. You can hold an auction for a max of 10 days, with a maximum bid requirement of 50,000 coins.

Wonder Trade: Wonder Trade is where you can offer a coloured Pokemon that is Level 5 and receive a random one that another player has offered of that same type. Every day, your first swap will cost $20,000,000. After each swap, it will increase by $5,000,000 and will cap at $100,000,000.

Pokemon Raffle: Pokemon Raffle is where players can submit any level 5 coloured type Pokemon (excluding Shiny and Ancient). The more Pokemon you submit, the higher chance you have of winning. You are only allowed to submit a max of 5 Pokemon per raffle reset. The Pokemon Raffle will reset once at the end of each day if there are at least 50 entries.

Laboratory

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

If you visit the Laboratory Tasks page, you will see an option to request a task for either a Shadow or Rainbow Mudkip. You can only have one task at a time, so choose wisely. Once you’ve made your decision, you will need to claim the ball for the Mudkip you selected. You can either spend 4,999 Coins or 1,495 Lab Credits. To obtain Lab Credits, you must complete a random task assigned by either Professor Oak or Giovanni. To catch Mudkip, visit a random page, where you will encounter it. Be sure to battle the Mudkip in order to catch it.

Coloured Boxes

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]
[you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

You can also obtain Coloured Pokemon from Coloured Boxes. You can obtain a coloured box by Promo snatching (must be the first one) or winning them from staff contests which are usually held in the Discord. Once you have obtained a box, head to Manage Items > Chests > Use item. You will then be redirected to Xatu Appraisal which will show what you have won. All coloured pokemon are given from l33t which is one of the Staff contest accounts.

Just be aware you can only receive Cursed Pokemon from Cursed Boxes, Shadow Pokemon from Shadow Boxes etc. Staff also never trade these, so the only way to obtain these boxes are from the sources mentioned above.

How to earn Coins

[you must login to view images]

Coins are an important currency in Pokémon Creed, as they are the basis of the game's economy. Coins are used to purchase exclusive promo's in the Promo Center, buy items in shops to aid in various aspects of the game (battling/crafting/maps, etc), and to exchange in trades with other players. Currently, there are numerous ways to obtain coins, ranging from luck-based to time consuming. If you wish to learn how to earn coins effectively, click below to read the full guide.

Spoiler:

Games Corner

As mentioned above, one of the most efficient ways to earn coins is by playing the different minigames within the Games Corner. The minigames you want to participate in will display [Coins]. Some of the minigames only allow one account max to participate, however some minigames will allow you to use 2 accounts. Each section below will explain how many accounts you can use. All minigames in the Games Corner reset at 00:00 Creed time, that is only when you can do the daily minigames all over again.

Fishing Contest

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

The Fishing Contest is a minigame where you need to fish for a Pokémon. When you start fishing, a random Water or Ice-type Pokémon will appear. All you need to do is enter the first letter of the Pokémon's name.

For example, if Kyogre appears, you only need to enter the letter "K." If Mega Swampert appears, you only need to enter the letter "M". If a regional variant like AlolanNinetales or GalarianSlowpoke then you will need to enter "A" and "G", respectively. The regional forms are confusing, but make sure you pay attention.

We recommend submitting only Legendaries, Mega Evolutions, and Pokémon like Avalugg to the contest. It is also highly recommended to purchase the Super Rod, as it is the best rod and more likely to earn you higher points. Just remember, every catch you submit will replace your current score. It's recommended to maintain scores between 30,000 and 32,000.

The prize for winning the Fishing Contest for that day is as follows:

1st Place: 5,000 Coins + $50,000,000
2nd Place: 2,500 Coins + $25,000,000
3rd Place: 1,000 Coins + $10,000,000

Just remember that once you have won for that day, you must wait one whole day before you can participate again, otherwise you risk losing your prizes. This minigame resets at 00:00 Creed time.

Daily Raffle, Hitdown & Lucky Dip

[you must login to view images]

Daily Raffle: The Daily Raffle is a mini competition where you select a number from 1 to 750. You are allowed to use 2 accounts for the Daily Raffle. If the number you picked wins any 3 times, you will unlock a the "Raffle Winner" userbar.

To equip the userbar head to the Forums > Userbars > Locate the Raffle Winner Userbar then select "Unlock". Then you can scroll up to the top and click on "Display". This userbar will then be put on the second userbar slot which can be viewed either on your profile or on the Online List.

The prize for winning the Daily Raffle is as follows:

1st Place: 7,500 Coins & $25,000,000
2nd Place: 5,000 Coins & $15,000,000
3rd Place: 2,500 Coins & $10,000,000

The Daily Raffle resets at 00:00 Creed time.

[you must login to view images]

Snorlax's Lucky Dip: The Lucky Dip is a daily minigame you can do to receive either cash, coins, money or random Pokemon. You can also increase the amount of coins you can earn via Lucky Dip if you manage to dip everyday.

Each day, you gain a streak of 1. However, if you miss a day, you lose 5 points from your streak. To consistently earn a handful of coins from your Lucky Dip streak, it is highly recommended not to miss a day. The higher your streak, the more coins you can earn. Just like the Daily Raffle, you are allowed to use 2 accounts. Lucky Dip resets at 00:00 Creed time.

[you must login to view images]

Hitdown: Hitdown is one of the most effective way to earn coins, especially if you are just starting your journey. Unlike Lucky Dip and Daily Raffle, Hitdown can be done multiple times throughout the day and you can Hit as many times as you want, but you can only use 1 account per hit. Hitdown will have a countdown timer anywhere between 1 to 3 hours. You can also unlock the "Hitdown Userbar" by successfully winning at least 50 times.

To equip the userbar head to the Forums > Userbars > Locate the Hitdown Userbar then select "Unlock". Then you can scroll up to the top and click on "Display". This userbar will then be put on the second userbar slot which can be viewed either on your profile or on the Online List.

The prizes for winning Hitdown is as follows:

1st Place: 1,000 coins & $10,000,000
2nd Place: 500 coins & $5,000,000
3rd Place: 250 coins & $2,500,000

Battle Tent & Hangman

[you must login to view images]

Battle Tent: The Battle Tent is another effective way to gather coins, however, it can be time consuming. You can earn anywhere between 25 to 75 coins per battle, and you can earn up a max of 2,000 coins daily, which is split between Hangman.

Example: You can gain 1,025 coins doing Battle Tent and then if you wish, you can go do Hangman to earn the remaining 975 coins to reach your total daily limit of 2,000.

To beat the Battle Tent we recommend having following move set on the first Pokemon in your party: Bolt Strike, V-Create, Blizzard and Close Combat. Having these moves on your Pokemon increases the chances of winning. Once you have those moves on the Pokemon in the first slot of your party, head to the Battle tent where you will have the option to pick 3 Pokemon out of the randomly selected 6. It is recommended you select the Pokemon with the highest HP because they can take more hits which in return will increase the survivablility of your team.

[you must login to view images]

Hangman: Just like Battle Tent, Hangman is another effective way to gain coins, however, the difference with this minigame is you'll require some knowledge of the currently existing Pokemon within Creed. If you manage to successfully guess which Pokemon it is, you will receive 75 coins, but with every incorrect letter you will lose 5 coins. You are only allowed to make 6 mistakes before the minigame ends and you will need to start again, so make sure you pick your guesses wisely. To start Hangman you need to have a minimal of of 100 coins.

Pokemon Pairs

This minigame is pretty simple. Your goal is to find all pairs of the Pokemon before you run out of attempts. for every pair you fail to match, you will lose 1 attempt, however, for every successful pair you won't lose an attempt. Everytime you successfully find all pairs, you will be awarded 100 coins. Just like Battle Tent and Hangman, this has a combined cap of 2,000 coins.

Example: If you gain 1,000 coins by doing Hangman & Battle Tent, you can still earn 1,000 coins by doing those or you can get 1,000 coins from Pokemon Pairs.

Unown Collector

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

Unown Collector is an easy way to gain some coinage, but it can be time consuming if RNG isn't in your favor. Your goal is to collect the required Unown needed to spell out the Pokemon that the collector tells you.

Example: If the Unown Collector tells you he wants a Pikachu, you will need to collect 1 of each letter so it spells out "PIKACHU". If it asks you that he wants an Aromatisse, you will need to collect all letters including any duplicates, which in this case is the letter "S".

All unowns spawn on every map, so there will be no need to change maps to look for different letters, however a change of scenery never hurts anybody. You can also increase the chance of Pokemon encounters by using a Lure which is only available by Crafting and Trading with others. You can read the Crafting guide to see what the requirements are.

For every unown set you complete, you will be rewarded with 60 coins per letter.
Example: If you complete the "PIKACHU" set, you will be rewarded 420 coins.

Collection Contest & Oak's Daily Research

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

Collection Contest: The Collection Contest is one of the best ways to make coins if you have patience and determination. The Collection Contest is a month long contest that requires you to go around on the maps catching one specific Pokemon and submitting it.

Your main goal is to collect and submit as many of the required Pokemon as you can within the month. The required Pokemon can be found on all maps, and usually consists of a Pokemon that is either found on the Maps or in Random/Specific Swap. If the Pokemon is found in the Random/Specific Swap, it is removed from there just for the month and will be available again after the Collection Contest for that month is over. All Pokemon you submit must be your own, have 126 exp (Level 5), non-coloured. Any Pokemon that have the Creation Date before the event start time can not be submitted.

Each Pokemon you submit to the Contest will award you 5 coins, $500,000, and 127 orienteering exp. However, the following prizes are given if you manage to win the contest:

You can increase your chance of encountering a Pokemon required for the Collection Contest on the maps by using a Lure.

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

1st Place: 75,000 coins, 6 Safes & Random Coloured Box
1st Place: 50,000 coins, 4 Safes & Random Coloured Box
1st Place: 25,000 coins, 2 safes & Random Coloured Box

If you manage to win a Collection Contest, you are not allowed to win again for the next 2 months, however you are allowed to submit a maximum of 4 per day, however this is not recommended as you can still win, and if you do you will forfiet any prizes, so it is best to just skip the next 2 months so other people have a fair chance of winning.

[you must login to view images]

Oak's Daily Research: Oak's Daily Research is not really worth it, but if you plan on doing the Collection Contest, doing the Daily Research is a decent way to get some more coins daily. All you need to do is faint 70 Pokemon and donate 3 Pokemon to the Collection Contest to receive 150 coins, 500 points and $1,000,000, which will net you an extra 4,500 coins, 15,000 points and $30,000,000 a month.

You are allowed to do Oak's Daily Research on 2 accounts, but it is not recommended due to only allowing one account to participate in the Collection Contest per 3 months.

Clan Credits & Amulet Coin

Clan Credits:Clan Credits is a type of currency which can be used to purchase things like coins, cash and Pokemon via the Clan Rewards section. If you are in need of a clan visit the Clan List, and find a clan that you would like to join, preferably one that has an active guild leader. Once you have found the clan you like, submit an application with a small description and hope for the best.

To gain Clan Credits is pretty simple and easy, however you get enough can take some time and requires determination. The easiest way to gain Clan Credits is via battling NPC Trainers. We recommend battling either Swimmer Richard or the Riddle Master. Each battle you complete will award you roughly 430,000 Clan Credits. Just equip your Pokemon with the move "Bolt Strike" and go to town. With enough grinding, you will net your self a pretty hefty amount of Clan Credits which can be exchanged for either Cash or Coins.

To gain the max amount of clan credits (roughly 430,000), the Pokemon you battle needs to be above level 5,000.

[you must login to view images]

Amulet Coin: The final recommend way to obtain coins is the most effective, however is time consuming. The Amulet Coin can be equiped to any Pokemon in your party. It comes at the hefty price of $3,000,000,000 & 95,000 coins and can be either bought from the Dept. Store, traded for from other players or if you don't have the funds for that, some people might loan theirs to you.

The Amulet Coins will award you 3 coins every time you defeat a Pokemon and just like Clan Credits, the best way to utilize this is by battling the Riddle Master and making sure your Pokemon has learnt Bolt Strike.

How to gain Cash

Just like coins, Cash is another important currency to have as they are used for basically everything like; purchasing the promo, buying items. They also aid other various activities of the game (buying a home, travelling to different regions, farming/crafting etc). Fortunately, there are multiple ways to collect cash. If you wish to learn how to gain cash effectively, click below to read the full guide.

Spoiler:

Games Corner

Just like it was mentioned in the coin guide, you can earn cash via most minigames. The most effective minigames would be: Daily Raffle, Lucky Dip, Hitdown, Fishing Contest, High Low & Oak's Daily Research.

Just remember that some of these minigames have an account limit, so make sure you don't break this rule otherwise you are at risk of losing your prizes.

Sell Pokemon

You do have the option of selling your unwanted, non-coloured Pokemon for a small fee. Base Pokemon (Level 5) will sell for $10,000 and will scale upwards if the Pokemon you are selling is a higher level.

Map Items

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

Just like finding Shiny Pokemon on the maps, you can also find a large variety of items on the maps. You can find berries, coloured shards and also ingredients for crafting and farming, but you can also find relics and other rare items and they can only sell these items for cash to The Enthusiast. To locate him, head to Your Town > The Enthusiast.

The list of items that can be sold are as follows:

[you must login to view images]
Balm Mushroom: $2,000,000

[you must login to view images]
Comet Shard: $3,000,000

[you must login to view images]
Pearl: $5,000,000

Relic Copper: $50,000,000

[you must login to view images]
Relic Crown: $100,000,000

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

You can only find these items if you have either an Itemfinder or Dowsing Machine equipped. You can buy these from the Dept. Store for some coins and cash. It is recommended that you buy the Dowsing Machine as it has better odds of finding an item , however an Itemfinder will be fine until you can afford a Dowsing Machine.

To equip these items head to Manage Items > Equip Items > then select the Itemfinder or Dowsing Machine. Once you do this, it will automatically be placed in your Handhelds.

Bank Interest

You do have the option of depositing your cash into the Bank, which overtime will net you a small amount of interest (0.05%) per day. You can keep a max of $4,294,967,295 in your Bank at any time, and once you reach the max limit, you will no longer receive any interest.

There are multiple ways to locate the bank. The first way is on the top-right hand corner where it displays your ID, Trainer Level etc. If you press on the "[d]", all money in your wallet will be deposited automatically. You can also visit "Pallet Town" or which ever town you are currently in and visit the Bank from there.

Safe, Battles & Clan Credits

[you must login to view images]

Safe: There is an item called the "Safe" which contains a whopping $2,000,000,000 however there is only a handful of ways to obtain this item.

The first method is by accumulating $2,000,000,000 and 10 coins, once you have this you can head to the Dept. Store and purchase a Safe. This doesn't actually award you with more cash than what you paid for but it is a way to store your extra cash if your bank is full and can be used when you get low.

The second method is by purchasing them off other Players. A safe usually goes for anywhere around 3,000 to 5,000 coins, anything more than that is usually not worth it. You can purchase safes off other players or by visiting the Item Market. There is a search field in the Item Market, so you are able to search for a Safe or any item that you are looking for, but be aware, items are sometimes sold for a higher price, it's probably better to directly message someone if you wish to purchase their items.

The third and final method is by winning the Collection Contest. The Collection Contest can award you with 6, 4 or 2 safes depending on which place you get in the Collect Contest.

Battles: After completing a battle, you are awarded a small amount of cash. The amounts usually range anywhere between $3,000 and $12,000. To make a decent amount, you will need some determination.

Clan Credits: Just like coins, you can also purchase cash from your Clan Rewards section for 250,000 credits. You do have the ability to purchase as much cash as you wish, however you just need to make sure you have enough credits before doing so. Clan Credits are earnt by battling any NPC and to maximize your earnings, make sure the Pokemon you battle is above level 5,000.

Other Players

Just like buying safes off other Players, you do have the option to buy cash as well. Usually cash can go between 1,000 - 2,000 per b (billion). It is best to just send the Player a message to see if they are willing to sell their cash for coins, just make sure you get a fair price for the amount of cash you want.

[Guide] - A beginners guide to basics
A Guide to Completing the Pokedex & Breeding

Attempting to complete the Pokedex can be time consuming, but very rewarding. You will need to collect as many Pokemon as you can. You can obtain Pokemon from places like Maps, Random Swap/Specific Swap, Promo Center, Games Corner and Breeding.

When submitting Pokemon you will need to make sure that you are the Original Trainer, have one of the variants in game (Normal, Cursed, Shadow, Ancient etc) and have the current existing Pokemon in your box. If you have evolved the Pokemon that you own, and have not submitted its pre-evolution, you can only submit the entry for the current evolved form and not its pre-evolutions, therefore before evolving a Pokemon, make sure you've logged the entry into your Pokedex.

To submit Pokemon, head to the Pokedex then search for the Pokemon you wish to submit. Or, head to your Pokemon Box, search for the Pokemon and click on it. A new page will open which you can directly open the Pokedex page from there, which saves a little bit of time.

A good chunk of the Pokemon you can submit to the Pokedex can be found in Maps. You can read the Map Guide that was linked at the very top of this guide to figure out which Pokemon you need.

Another way to obtain dex entries is via Breeding. You can start breeding Pokemon once you get a total of 345 Pokedex entries. To locate the Daycare head to Your Town > Day Care - Breeding. You can use any Pokemon to breed, just as long as they arent a Legendary, Mythical or belong to the "Undiscovered" egg group, a baby Pokemon (Pichu, Riolu etc) and Genderless (G). Breeding a Pokemon will take around 24 hours to complete. After the 24 hours is up, you will then receive a Pokemon that matches whatever female Pokemon you used and will always have your OT (Original Trainer).

Example: if you breed a RainbowChatot M and Zubat F, you will receive a Zubat.

Just be aware using a coloured Pokemon like Rainbow, Cursed etc you will not receive a coloured Pokemon while breeding. You do however have a small chance to receive a Shiny Pokemon while breeding. You can increase your odds of obtaining a shiny if you have a Shiny Charm equipped.

If you wish to obtain more starters, you will need to breed them. You can find starters like Treeko, Fennekin on the maps, however, you will need to breed to get the others. You can borrow other starter Pokemon from other Players and use those to obtain the starters. If you wish to obtain Legends and Mythical Pokemon, you can purchase them from the Games Corner for coins, however Pokemon like Regice and ShinyCelebi can be found on the maps.

Bonus Rewards: Once you get enough Pokedex entries you will unlock some neat perks and rewards.

Reaching a total of 345 dex entries will reward you with the ability to start Breeding.

[you must login to view images]

Reaching a total of 400 dex entries will reward you with the "Pokedex Brain" userbar.

[you must login to view images]

Reaching a total of 700 dex entries will reward you with the "Pokedex God" userbar.

To unlock these userbars head to the Forums > Userbars. Scroll down until you locate these userbars and click on "Unlock", once you have done that you now have the option to display them. You can only have one secondary userbar displayed at anytime.

A beginners guide to gaining experience points

While most forms of battling will help level your Pokemon up, some are better than others. There are multiple NPC trainers to choose to battle and you can even battle other Players teams.

When it comes to gaining experience, we've categorized everything into different levels of difficulty. Each level depends on the progress you’ve made so far, including factors like your team and the number of badges you own. These categories are labeled as 'beginner,' 'intermediate,' and 'end game,' with 'end game' being the most challenging. It should only be attempted if you have a reasonably strong team, however, it can be attempted at anytime.

Click below to reveal the guide to battling NPC's

Spoiler:

[you must login to view images][you must login to view images]

Beginners: As a new player, one of your main goals will be to gain levels in order to challenge gyms and earn badges. Earning badges grants you access to more features of the game, such as the Promo Center and Messages.

The recommended NPC's to battle are Swimmer Richard and Riddle Master. These NPC's are the easiest as they can be fainted within 1 - 2 moves. The recommended moveset would be a hard-hitting Electric type move like Bolt Strike. These 2 trainers will offer you good exp return whilst you’re a low level, with very limited difficulty. It's also good to note that NPC Swimmer Richard’s Prinplup will be 2x of your highest level Pokemon, so this will increase exp yield at the end of the battle, while Riddle Master will be the same level as your highest level Pokemon.

This method is recommended to be used if you are yet to complete your Gym Badges. All you will need to do is train your team to the "Max Level" requirement for each gym.

Intermediate: Although still not the best experience rates the game has to offer, these trainers will require a little more skill. The NPC's that fall into the "intermediate" category are: Bird Tamer and Dragon Tamer. Recommended move set is either a strong Electric/Ice Type move like Bolt Strike or Blizzard for Bird Tamer and a strong Ice type move like Blizzard for Dragon Tamer.

Just like the beginner NPC's, the Intermediate NPC's are more of a challenge to defeat. The NPC's are 2x and 3x higher than your strongest Pokemon, thus giving more exp per defeated Pokemon. It might take a few times for RNG to be on your side to defeat each Pokemon.

[you must login to view images]

Zapmolcuno: Zapmolcuno is one of the hardest NPC's to defeat due to it's moveset which makes any team nearly useless. It's recommended to have a team full of Ghost and Ground type Pokemon like Golurk and Palossand. it's also essential to have your team know the moves Toxic, Bolt Strike, Blizzard or Fly. If any of your Pokemon don't have Fly, you can ask someone in the community if they can teach your Pokemon Fly.

[you must login to view images]

To purchase Toxic you will need to purchase TM06 from the Dept. Store. You can purchase it for 4,500 coins and $75,000,000. To have your Pokemon learn Toxic, head over to "Your Pokemon" > "Change Moves" > you will then see a category labelled Pokemon TMs. Click on "Use Item".

If you can't afford Toxic, you can use other moves like Sludge and Poison Sting which have a small chance to Poison the opponents Pokemon.

Upon successfully defeating zapmolcuno, the Pokemon that deals the final blow will have all of their moves replaced with Fly. All moves except TM moves will be replaced.

[you must login to view images]

Dark Alley: When entering "Your Home", under the "The Streets" section, there will be a place called "Dark Alley". It is here where you can gain the best xp method available in the game. Before having the chance to battle the Mysterious Trainer, you will need to have obtained all 48 Badges.

Just like zapmolcuno, it's recommended to have a team with Ghost and Ground type Pokemon. However, the moveset you need will be slightly different. While Toxic and Fly is Best in Slot (BiS), Toxic and Megahorn is still a viable moveset to have. All of the Mews you battle with be 10x your strongest level Pokemon, making this NPC the most difficult to defeat.

[you must login to view images]
[you must login to view images]

All you need to do is defeat the first Mew and then restart the battle, however, if you think you can do it, try and defeat all 6 Mews. If you manage to do that successfully, you will receive the "Mew Ribbon" and you will also receive a "Mew Tamer" userbar for you to display on your profile. You can defeat the Mysterious Trainer as many times as you wish, however, you will only receive a Ribbon each time.

Level Transfer

Using the Level Transfer feature is one way for you to gain exp. While you aren't actively gaining exp, this is a great way to trade for exp that you purchase and/or trade for. You can also use Level transfer for training jobs.

Example: if Trainer A wants his Mewtwo to gain a million EXP (for the prize of his GoldenLugia), then he can ask Trainer B for a Jirachi with a million EXP. Trainer B buys a Jirachi from the Games Corner and trains a million EXP on it. Then Trainer B creates a trade with his million EXP Jirachi for Trainer A's GoldenLugia (the prize). This is done in one trade. Trainer A can then transfer the EXP from the Jirachi to his Mewtwo. Trainer A can even distribute the transferred EXP across several Pokemon or downgrade it to multiple Jirachis. Trainer B could also use a Jirachi he prepared/trained earlier so Trainer A doesn't have to wait. This also allows trainers to train Jirachis without training jobs.

It is worth to note that only normal Jirachi's can be used to transfer exp, Shiny, Shadow or even Cursed Jirachi's can not be used. You can also transfer exp between normal Jirachi's as well.

Loaning

Loaning a Pokemon higher than your own can be an effective way to gain yourself some boosted xp. However, when you loan a Pokemon from these Players, they will often ask for a percentage of the exp back in return.

Example: Trainer A loans his Pokemon out to Players, however he wants 10% of the total amount of exp you gain. So, if you train 100b exp, you will need to transfer 100m exp from the Jirachi to another Jirachi, then you will send the Jirachi with the 10% to Trainer A. This is where you can utilize the Level Transfer to make it easy for you.

If you have a high enough level, you can also loan your own Pokemon out as well and request a certain percentage of exp in return.

Lucky Eggs

Using Lucky Eggs is a nice way to boost your exp gain by 25% after each battle. There are currently 2 types of Lucky Eggs: Lucky Egg (30) and Lucky Egg (60) which has a timer of 30 and 60 minutes respectively.

You can purchase the Lucky Egg (30) from the Dept. Store for $5,000,000 and 2,000 coins. You can also purchase the Lucky Egg (60) from the Dept. Store for $10,000,000 and 3,000 coins.

When using a Lucky Egg, you need to be very careful as it is easy to mess it up and if that happens, your egg will be wasted for the whole duration. When you go to use your Egg, just be aware that it only affects the Pokemon in the first slot and the first slot only, so don't go switching your Pokemon around once you use the Egg. Make sure to plan ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below contains a list of frequently asked questions by new and veteran players alike. If you have a question that isn't here, you can check out the other FAQ.

This list will be updated periodically

Q: What's the most effective way to earn all 48 Gym Badges?
A: It's recommended to purchase a Jirachi from the Games Corner for 150 coins, then put exp on it. Once you get enough exp, you can use the level transfer to evenly distribute exp across your team. Just make sure you don't go past the maximum level requirement for each gym. Alternatively, you can ask some players if they have a team to loan you so you can defeat the gyms.

Q: How does the Promo schedule work?
A: Promos are usually last 1 week. However, there is a special promo at the end of every month which is more expensive than the other promos during the month.

Q: The Promo timer has ended, when will it change?
A: Once the promo timer has ended, the promo will randomly change within the next 24 hours.

Q: How will I know a trade is fair?
A: Generally you won't know unless you check either the Rate List on the forums or in the Discord. Just remember that the rates should be used as a guide.

Q: I ended up being one of the lucky few and snatched the Promo, how much does it rate?
A: First of all, Congratulations! It isn't easy being able to be on of the snatchers. If you do manage to obtain a special gendered promo, it is worth 2x the rate, while a Level 4 is rated 3x the rate. Most promos rate double the price of what you purchase them for from the Promo Center

Q: I see some players like Big Mac with a fancy userbar, how do I get myself one of those?
A:You can unlock most userbars by doing a few things in the Creed. To change your userbar you can either go to your Preferences and at the top it will tell you hwere you can change it. You can also change it via the Forums, just look at the top for the section that says "Userbars". To check the requirements just hover over the "Unlock" section and a small pop up will appear telling you want you need to do.
