A few hours later...
"Hmmm. Good thing I made another basket. There's been like 10 berry bushes. Sadly, most of the berries were eaten so I only have 30, but I mustn't let my new friends down. I shall keep searching!" Suddenly, 7 Pokemon surrounded me. "Pathetic." said one of them. All the Pokemon were different species. I made a list in my head. "Let's see. There's a Raichu, a Rhyperior, Aggron, Yanmega, Shiftry, Marowak, and obviously the leader, Spiritomb. "Hand em' over!" cried Aggron. "Yeah. Those belong to us now!" said Raichu. They all took a step toward me. I wasn't sure if I could take them all... The Dragonite itself was hard enough, but now this? This wasn't going to be easy. Ryperior shot a large rock at me. I smashed it with a punch. I shot an earthquake all around me. Yanmega was flying, so it didn't affect him. Aggron, Rhyperior, and Marowak were too slow to jump over it, so the took a harsh blow. Aggron fell to the floor. "One down, six to go." I thought to myself. But the enemies didn't see the next part coming. The earthquake hit the close mountain hard, and a bunch of fast-moving rocks tumbled towards all of us. I jumped over them, but so did Shiftry, and Spiritomb retreated temporarily into its rock. "And then there were three." Shiftry said. While he was talking, I landed a cheap punch in his face. "That didn't hurt one bit." he said. "It wasn't meant to." I replied. When Shiftry looked behind him, he saw a hungry Snorlax. And guess what he did. Snorlax rolled over Shiftry, trapping him under hundreds of pounds of weight. So it was me and the leader, Spiritomb. And to my surprise, he moved back a little bit. He was scared to bits. I charged at him as fast as I could and chomped on his rock. I swung my head around as hard as I could and flung him straight up in the air. With perfect timing, I whipped my tail and smashed him straight into the mountain. "That was easier than expected" I thought to myself. And I journeyed forth.

Shiftry finally managed to get out from underneath snorlax .Lucas leads jade out of the tunnel through a cave behind the raichu "you guys again!" Yells Lucas punching the shiftry with close combat KOing it

"remember I tried to attack you with an ice punch" said Lucas

"those Pokemon are member of a group of thieves" said Lucas referring to the Pokemon surrounding Connor. "that's right, you may have KO'D shiftry but you can't win in five against one" sneered the raichu
