A hyena went up to me and brought dreadful news. There was a huge loss of lives in the nursery for the pups and cubs. The mothers and visitors were dead too.

Star, who may or may not have been eavesdropping, gasped. "But why?" She asked.

"I dunno," I say. "Go, Leon, try to do something to cheer yourself up."

Star frowned, upset that deaths were happening.
"If random deaths are occurring, the Medicine Wolf should know!" Star growled anxiously, trying out her new title.

"Leon knows things before I do." I say, "I would've told you."

Star shook her head, as if to clear thoughts.
"Yeah, ok..." She mumbled, walking back to her new den.

I lower my head and drag my tail as I walk back home.

(It's so annoying when you're starting out in AC and you don't have a dresser. -_-)
Star, who suddenly felt exhausted, curled up and fell asleep.

(AC means Animal Crossing? I've never played any Animal Crossing.)
I got to my den and hid my muzzle under my paws.

(I think there's something seriously wrong about that. XD)
Star's dreams were filled with howling mothers and whimpering cubs.

(Sorry, but after Balloon Boy, I don't wanna play animal crossing....)
I began thinking of how many angry wild dogs there will be ranting at me tomorrow... I didn't kill those poor nursing mothers or baby cubs...

The next morning, Star woke with a gasp. She felt hot from all her bad dreams the night before.

Before most of the townsfolk were up, I walk into Star's den. "Star, are you awake?" I whisper.

"Yeah." Star whispered back.

"Unless you want thousands of territory dogs after us, hop on my back, we're gonna go pay a mountain lion a visit, but don't fret, he's a friend." I say. "The other officials are already over there."
