Ki scoffed a bit under his helm, "How idiotic." he said as with a swing of his blade, Caliburn was "broken". "What a pathetic blade, too brittle to stand a single hit." he said, underestimating the abilities of Caliburn and Excalibur. "Go ahead, do it again." he taunted, leaving himself wide open

Icarus smirked and motioned for Gawain to initiate phase two, while Virtue stood in the backline, ready to snap his fingers.

I got into position, and begun phase two.

Ki stood his ground, letting Gawain get close with the shattered Caliburn.

Virtue smirked, snapping his fingers and sending a meter long blade of blood from the broken Caliburn, which promptly pierced right through Ki and came out through his back.

Ki fell, the blade still piercing through him, "I didn't see this coming...what a strange blade." he said as he fell, blood falling out of his wound. "I accept defeat." he said, as a bolt of lightning hit him, turning him to ashes, and leaving Caliburn where the Knight once stood.

Icarus and Virtue headed to pick up their blades, each of them sliding the blade across their wound to fix the wound and the blade, "Well that's one blade secret revealed." Icarus stated.

Icarus nodded, "Shall we head back inside and tell the king of our good fortune?" he said as he and Virtue headed back towards the dining hall.

Icarus and Virtue elaborated their dispelling of Ki to the King, who happily rejoiced by giving the group living quarters and free access to the king's personal cooks.
