Edward calmly and unflinchingly fired his bow at the dog

Alice scrambled to her feet and stared at this human.

"You alright?" Edward asked.

Alice nodded. "I think it was infected...." She looked at her now bleeding leg and whinced with every step she took.

"Okay, sit down, and put pressure over the wound. I don't know how to deal with the possible infection, but we need to stop the bleeding." Edward said

Alice bit her bottom lip. "Why are you helping me?" She asked.

"Why wouldn't I help you?" Edward said

Alice looked away. "People...aren't people anymore so...Im not used to kindness." She mumbled.

I was walking about.

I stood up on a mountainside after awhile, holding my scythe firmly on the ground, After awhile I heard some footsteps behind me and quickly turned around to see an animal that was most likely infected, the animal lunged at me and I stabbed my Scythe into it's underbelly and flung it away from me, the animal fell down the side of the mountain, falling into sharp, jagged rocks at the bottom. I began walking down the mountain, watching my surroundings carefully

Edward took his shirt off and began wrapping it around Alice's leg. "This should keep pressure on it." He said. "I'm going to look for medical supplies."

Alice nodded and felt the blood still flowing down her leg. She glanced at it noticing that it was now black.

Edward went outside. "There should be an abandoned hospital 2 miles off." He muttered.

Alice limped towards Edward. "A-Am I going to turn into one of them?" She asked.

Edward looked down. "I don't know." He said.
