Eb, has got a good point here, just check the forums everyday to find out stuff, a pm or an event would be annoying imo

I agree with EB and gambler. Maybe to improve this we could have a toggle system similar to the Wonder Trade events? So maybe if you'd prefer not to receive these messages you could toggle it off somewhere either in the Preferences or Forum Settings section?

Or, you could "follow players" on the Forums, and then if you admire there work or posts, you can get notifications if they post anything. Maybe?

Well, forums were made so that you check them by coming to forums, not in game.
