Item: Ash - Useless?
Hi there!

Everytime the fossil fails, we'll get an item called Ash.

But as of now it's Useless.

Isn't it better to make it an useful item too?

Like crafting it with some other ingredients to get back the Ancient Fossil or it's part 1/2/3? Ofc, success rate must be very low like 20% (maybe), So that it'd be more interesting.

There should be a minimum requirement to craft this.

Post your thoughts/suggestions.

Thanks for your time! Have a great day.

I agree.

At least this can give purpose to ash instead of stockpiling in your inventory.
Also, this would help decrease frustration when an ancient pokemon fails to craft by giving another, small chance lol

I agree too. Also combining a multiple ash should give as a few fossil parts.
Example: crafting 10 ash can get us any random parts ×3 everytime
10 ash x 1 fossil part 1. So get part 1,2,3, × 10 fossil parts and craft it makes 1 ancient fossil .

You can only craft 4 ingredients at a time. So 4 per fossil part would be a good idea :D

Well, thanks for implementing the idea of converting Ash into fossil parts.

But we need a crafting recipe to convert these parts into a complete fossil.

So how about this combination?

Ancient Fossil Part 1 + Ancient Fossil Part 2 + Ancient Fossil Part 3 + Fresh Water = Ancient Fossil ?
(I'd say with 100% success rate)

Reason is here:
4x Ash can get you a part (with 50% success rate). So it's like 8x Ash per part.

We need 3 parts to get a complete Fossil. So it's 24x Ash.
Isn't it way too much for a single Fossil? If you add success rate of 50% here too, it'd be like 48x Ash to get a fossil. That's not a good one because, those 48x Ash came from 48x Ancient Fossil. (Which requires 48 days tbh)

So I'd say, Conversion of Parts into Fossil should be of 100% success rate and for having a 100% success rate, make sure it requires very high level to craft/convert Parts into Fossil.

Maybe a Crafting Level of 175 or 200 as it requires a minimum of 150 level to get the Parts.

What do you say? :P

I'd say only the Ancient Fossil Part 1 + 2 + 3 = 100% Ancient Fossil. No need for fresh water and no need for a chance to fail since the Ancient Fossil parts are already hard to get.
Crafting level would probably around 180.
