It was obvious he was alive, he was breathing, he was just hurt. He woke. "M-m-midnite?"

Aero crouched beside Ace.
"Ace, it's me, Aero! Are you okay?"

"I've been better." he says, simply laying his head on a pillow that fell off of his bed.
"Midnite, he won't come back for about a month..."

Aero cocked her head. "Midnite?"

"He's like my shadow, he tries to kill me every opportunity he has." Ace says.

"That's not good." Aero said. She got up. "We should sleep. We have school tomorrow." She tournedos to leave, but then looked back. "You'll be okay, right?"

"Yeah, I'm just fine." He says, going right back to sleep.

Aero went back to sleep to.

Morning came along and Ace was cooking pancakes and bacon. School was in 2 hours so they'd have time to get ready.

Aero came down in the morning, rubbing her eyes.
"Good morning." She greeted, sitting down at the table.

"Good morning to you too, :) Eat up, I'm gonna go get a shower." He says, taking off.

Aero gobbled up the breakfast and took a quick shower in the other bathroom before brushing her hair and getting ready.

Ace came out and his hair now had red highlights, he was wearing a red collard vest with a long sleeve black shirt under it. He wore grey jeans and boots. He had brushed his hair and teeth and everything else.

"You look nice." Aero said, smiling. She grabbed her backpack and walked toward the door.

Ace smiles, "Thanks, so, do you think your parents know you're gone yet?" He asks, slipping something in his pocket.
