I shrugged.
"No party today?" I asked.

"If you want we can have a party." Shulk said.

"Sure, why not?" I replied.

Ace facepalmed. He knew math was extremely easy and they weren't supposed to be goofing off. He stood up and said, "Today, we're going to do something productive. Disobey me, and you'll regret it. Now, do these problems, check with a partner, then do this worksheet someone forgot to check in the lesson plan. Until we get an actual teacher, I'll step up and keep busy. There will be absolutely no talking until I tell to work with a partner."

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Donatello, go get these copied, please. We are not wasting 35 out of 42 minutes of a class period on a stupid party." Ace says, shooting both Shulk and Tails a dirty look.

"But who doesn't like parties!?" a random kid yelled.
"Big meanie!" another yelled.
I acted like I wasn't a part of this. Tbh I wanted that party since all the work was done, but if something else came up, oh well.

"Yeah, I am a big meanie. Yeah, I don't like parties, now do your work." Ace snaps, his eyes flashing yellow.

"That worksheet isn't for another two weeks. The whole lesson plan for today were just those problems that Tails already solved and the homework." Shulk said.

Ace's wings spread. "I said, 'Do the worksheet.'" Ace says, getting controlled by anger.

"Why are we working so far ahead into the lesson plan?" Shulk asked, not being intimidated by Ace.

"Giant jerkface!" a random student yelled, tossing his worksheet on the ground.
"Not a good idea.." I murmured, jotting down the answers on mine.

"Well maybe, why don't we waste our lives by being absolutely useless! If you haven't noticed, we don't have a teacher, and if we don't do anything, we won't get any smarter. So now DO IT!" He yells, using his dark magic to throw Shulk into the wall.

I excused myself from the room.

Shulk coughed before he got back to his feet. He drew his sword, the Monado. "Monado, protect me from harm!" He called out, using Monado Shield and creating a protective barrier around him. "We can get smarter two weeks from now when that worksheet is in the lesson plan!" Shulk shouted.
