After I stopped myself from throwing up, I took a step towards Mochi.
"Sounds like you've been a stray for a long time." I said.

Mochi shrugged casually. "Yeah," He replied. "So, what are your guys' names? Mine's Mochi." He continued, sitting down on the soft grass.

"I'm Violet." I replied.
"That's Lily." I added, pointing to the Lemon Beagle.
"And that's Pudding." I finished pointing to the other Tri-colored Beagle.
"Hai." Pudding derpidly added.

Mochi grinned at Pudding, and then looked at each of the other Beagles in turn. "It's nice to meet all of you!" He said, tail wagging contently.

"Nice to meet you, too!" I replied. The human opened the door of the house.
"Uh-oh! The human's coming!" I warned Mochi.

Mochi cocked his head. "Why is that a bad thing?" He wondered aloud.

"She might freak out if she sees you because you're a stray. You know how humans are." I replied.

Mochi nodded, and then looked around. He pounced into a bush and hid himself from sight a second before their human looked around.

"well there you are, you little rascals!" she playfully said, placing four metal dishes on the ground. Three had food, and the other, water. She walked back into the house.

Mochi pushed his way out of the bush, and his eyes sparkled as he saw the food. He looked rather silly; his fur was sticking out all over the place, and his fur had many leaves and burrs stuck in it.

"Want some?" I offered.

"Yes please!" Mochi barked enthusiastically, bounding over. Being the gentleman- er, dog?- that he is, he let Violet have the first bite before he ate some himself.

After I had eaten some, I let Mochi have whatever he wanted of what was left.

Mochi instantly scarfed down all that was left in the bowl. He looked up, licking his lips. "I haven't had dog food in so long," He lamented. "It's better than I remembered! Though, I still prefer chicken." He added.

The three of us laughed. I took a sip of water.
"You should probably have a sip, too." I told.
