"You're more than welcome, Frazz," I say.

Frazz's smile went even wider. She kissed Acel and sat back on her knees.

"Does it feel okay?" I ask, "I sorta kinda also mended the bones to perfect shape."

Frazz nodded. "I feel so much more comfortable... It's like before anything happened!" She happily stated.

"I'm glad," I say.

"Oh... And you said you'd tell me what you meant after. So... What did you mean?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Oh yeah, how are you alive AND dead?" I ask.

"The work of a puppeteer with lots of dark magic. Here.. Let me show you..." She rested her hands on Acel's temples and transferred some of her memories to him.

A little girl was strapped to an iron table, she was kicking and screaming and trying to undo the straps. A man then walked in and knocked her out. He pulled out surgical tools and started operating on her. He replaced her heart with a clock, and her muscle with stuffing. He also inserted pure shadows into her, making the monitor she was attached to flat line. The clock's gears kept the dead blood and shadows pumping around her body, but she still looked dead. She was stitched back up and left on the table.

I let tears roll down my face.

The memory stopped and Frazz pulled away. "Well.. That's what happened..."

"That's horrible," I say.

Frazz shrugged. "Yes, but everything happens for a reason... Maybe the fates have something in store for me.." She said, gently wiping his tears away.

I sigh. "It still sucks..."

Frazz nodded. "True.. But the past is the past, I can't change it." She stated, hugging him.

I hugged back .
