I was in the special stage getting every ring and the emerald again

We hadn't noticed that the other two left yet.
"It's your fault they think we're idiots!" I yelled.
"It's your fault we ARE idiots!" Grounder replied.
"You just called yourself an idiot, yet you say you're NOT one!" I exclaimed.
"Well at least I'm not chicken and am okay with admitting it!" he retorted.
"That's it!" I yelled, kicking him again.
Through the fighting, we somehow rolled right through the saws without getting sliced by any.

I was waiting at the end of Act II

We rolled right past Foxy, but not too much further, as the wall was there. Robotnik appeared behind the wall.
"Hi boss!" Grounder chimed. Robotnik waved at the four, and then stomped on the button, making the floor break apart. Foxy, Grounder, and I tumbled down into the labyrinth.
"Seriously?" Shard asked. He was still flying. Robotnik frowned, but then turned around and started to walk off.
"Where are you going?" he asked, trying to break through the wall. No luck. He grumbled something to himself, and flew down to the labyrinth where we were at.

A ton of Burrowbots came flying at us.
"Where does he even get the money for all these bots!?" Shard exclaimed, blasting one.
"Hi Aunt Mildred!" Grounder yelled, wheeling up to one.
"What da frack iz dat?" it asked, slowly wheeling away from him.
"Hi!" he said again. The Burrowbot burrowed back into the ground.
"Awww. Why do they keep doing that? You'd think they'd have more respect for their relatives!" he complained.
"I wonder if my mommy will treat me better?"
"You don't HAVE a mommy!" I yelled.
"I have an auntie!" he protested.
"You don't actually HAVE any family members!" I told.
"You're technically my big brother." he objected.
I facepalmed.
"Just shut up..." I muttered.

"Well, actually, we don't breathe at all, but still!" I corrected.

There was a meter showing lives. It dropped down to two.
"We didn't even drown! We can't drown!" I protested.
"Whose game is this?" Robotnik asked, flying by, before vanishing.
"Not yours." a voice said.
