The three of us got on the ship. A few Burrowbots lunged at the hull of the ship, but missed.

A bunch of other mechs lunged for the ship. A few made slight dings, but the ship was still in good condition.

Eventually, it crashed, and we all went flying into the water. Luckily, we were close to the end.

Shard gave him a dirty look.
"That's my line!" a voice screamed. There was some laughing.
"No! Give me the controller!"
"What the feather?" I asked. I looked over and noticed a large red spring.
"That must be a way out." I mumbled. No one appeared to hear me.
"C'mon Egghead! You suck at this game!" the first voice accused.
"I DO NOT!" a second protested.
"Look! You just died again!" the first pointed out.
The lives meter dropped to one.
"What even-?" I began, but decided not to finish that sentence.
"Let's just go."
"Did you say something?" Grounder asked.
"Were you at ALL listening!?" I yelled.
"Only sort of." he admitted. I kicked him.
"Hey!" he screamed, punching me.
"That wasn't very nice!"
"Hey! A way out!" Shard yelled over our fighting.
"Hey! I pointed that out first!" I argued.

I facepalmed and got onto the spring

The rest of us also took the spring. We were in the Final Zone.
"There doesn't appear to be much of anything here." I remarked.
"Because you're not looking hard enough!" Grounder laughed.
"Stop making stupid comments. You're ruining the mood." I told.
"You don't have to be rude about it!" he whined.

I couldn't help but snicker at that comment. Robotnik was nowhere in sight.
"Again?" I muttered. The floor rose up and almost crushed me against the ceiling.
"Well. Now we know what he's doing." I muttered.
