I sighed. Had to get this over with. A Burrowbot launched itself at us.
"Oh! That looks like my Great Uncle Bruce!" Grounder chimed.
"Hi!" he said, waving. It gave him a confused look, and slowly burrowed back into the ground.
(Fun Fact: Grounder's design was based on Burrowbots. :3)

"I'm Scratch, and I'm the boss of the S.S.S.S.S. Squad!" I introduced.
"I'm Grounder, and I'M the boss!" Grounder corrected, pushing me out of the way.
"I am!" I corrected, shoving him back.
"I AM!" he yelled, punching me.
"ME!" I hollered, kicking him.
It was a full-blown fight.
Shard gave us an 'are you freaking serious?' look.
"I'm Shard." he introduced.
"I have no connection to those two whatsoever, I'm just here because I was sent here, too." he made sure the fox knew.

Grounder and I were yelling so loud, that we didn't hear what he said.
"Will you shut up for 3 minutes?" Shard asked.
"he can't." Grounder accused, pointing to me.
"Oh, so this is MY fault!?" I yelled.
"Everything's your fault!" Grounder hollered.

"NO! I AM!" Grounder screamed, shoving me again.
"You're BOTH the boss." Shard yelled.
"Of stupidity." he added. making a snarky grin.
We were both silent for a minute.
"But I'm in higher authority than you!" I objected.
"Actually, you're not." he replied, pulling a ranking chart from Hammerspace. He pointed to the top. It read that Metal Sonic was above me.
"See? I was ahead of you before I quit." he told.
"But you quit." I protested.
"Plus that's not your name!"
"It's still a part of my name." he replied.
"But it's not." I stated.
"You may have forgotten who I am." he remarked.
"I think you need to have a new brain chip put in so you can remember."
"Was that supposed to be an insult!?" I yelled.

(Simplistic Answer:
Shard is the original Metal Sonic, but Sonic convinced him to turn good, but unfortunately, he was mostly destroyed after that. :L [Funnily in a weird way, pretty much the same way he died in OVA.] But Uncle Chuck [I'm assuming you know who that is.] found what was left a while later and rebuilt him. Fortunately, part of what was still salvageable was his 'conscious' [The good part in him.] which is why he's on the good guy's side.

The three of us were still trying to figure out who was in charge.
"How about I'M in charge?" Shard suggested.
"But I'M the boss!" I protested.
"No! I AM!" Grounder argued.
"I'm higher in rank than you, so I am the boss! End of story!" he yelled.
