(Violet's PoV)
I was playing with a couple other Beagle puppies. One's name was Pudding, and another, Lily, from what I've heard. I did not know the names of the other two.

Mochi blinked open his eyes. Looking around, he saw that he was at the end of a dark alleyway, with lots of garbage bags and cans. He lay on a bunch of crumpled up newspapers. Home sweet home... He though happily, smiling. No other dog would want to live here, but to him, this was paradise. Standing up, he stretched and yawned. What was he going to do today?

A small person walked into our cage. I looked up at her. She looked nice. She pointed at me, and then at Pudding, and then at Lily. She and the Kennel owner exchanged a few words, and she walked back out.
"What was that about?" I asked the others.
"Iunno. But it sure was strange." Lily answered.

The small Corgi padded out of the alleyway into a bustling street. He dodged skillfully out of the way of many feet, showing signs that he's done it before. He continued to walk confidently down a sidewalk, and then turned down a narrow street.
(When should your characters meet Mochi? 'Cause this RP would be pretty boring if they never met XD)

The owner and the woman came back a few minutes later and clipped leashes on the three of us.
"Are we going for a walk?" I wondered. The humans didn't answer. Of course they didn't answer. They don't speak dog. The two walked us to a car.

Meanwhile, Mochi was nosing around a restaurant's garbage. Grinning, he pulled out a large chicken bone that still had some meat on it. He began gnawing happily on it.

They made us get in.
"I wonder what's going on?" I asked.
The woman hopped into the car, and drove off somewhere.
Later, we pulled up in the driveway of a spacious house.
"This is your new home!" she told us.
