He glared at Foxy. A spark hit him in the eye, and he started squalling like a newborn. We were laughing our bolts off.
"Yeah TOTALLY *scary*, boss." I sarcastically commented, still laughing.

(There actually was a boss after Mecha Sonic, but we're just going to skip it, since well neither of us have beaten him. xD)
Unfortunately, the block hadn't been removed.
"Seriously?" I muttered. Mecha Sonic self-destructed, and Robotnik went flying into the block. The force caused the block to shatter, allowing us to pass.
"Finally! We're done!" I exclaimed, right before we all went flying forward.
"What's going on!?" I exclaimed. Something leaped out of the ground and socked us. Hard. All the Chaos Emeralds we collected scattered on the ground. I looked over to see a red echidna laughing his butt off at us. (I wanted to punch Knux when he did that. Dx)
"What was that for!?" I yelled. He gathered up our Emeralds and ran off, vanishing once out of sight.
(I'm going to have to go try Sonic 3 again. xD Haven't passed Hydrocity Zone yet. xD)

About halfway through Foxy's sprint, a ton of fireballs came flying from the sky.
"There's something you don't see every day." I commented.
