Ginger and Bone exchanged glances.
"Why would we ever-" Bone began, but was cut off by Ginger.
"That would be amazing." She said.

"You would join ThunderClan? Know that you will not be accepted right away. You must vow to live by the warrior code, and protect your Clan - And your Clanmates - with your life. Are you sure you are willing to join the ranks of our noble ways?"

Bone opened his mouth, but Ginger slapped her tail over it.
"We will." Ginger said. "Both of us." She added, glancing at Bone.
(Anyone can be Ginger and Bone, but you and I can RP them until then. =P)

"Good. Let's hope you can keep up." Piercingstar motioned for her patrol to follow as she jumped into the trees. Skipping from branch to branch, she was on the trail to home.

Shadepaw followed, but slowed down every now and then so Ginger and Bone could catch up.

Already, Piercingstar was thinking of what the two cats apprentice names should be. They streamed into camp, first leaping out from the tree and into the tunnel. "Pebbleheart!" she called. She dashed to the Highrock and yowled the summons. "All cats old enough to hunt gather around for a Clan meeting!"

Shadepaw sat down, and seeing the new cats perplexed faces, beckoned them to sit with him.

"We are here to hold a ceremony for our Clan's newest warriors." Piercingstar beckoned to Ginger,Bone, and Shadepaw. "Ginger, Bone, from this day forth, you will be known as Sunpaw and Icepaw. You are no longer bound to your old ways, and now are bound to the warrior code. Do you swear to be loyal to your Clan, no matter what the cost?"

"Yes!" Sunpaw said, her eyes sparkling.
"Yeah, I guess so." Icepaw mumbled, but Piercingstar could see the excitement in his eyes. Meanwhile, Shadepaw was shifting from paw-to-paw from anticipation. Was what he thinks is happening really happening?

They didn't use the traditional words, but... Whatever. "Then, Sunpaw and Icepaw, your mentors shall be Pebbleheart and Blackstripe. Shadepaw, I shall be your mentor. Sunpaw, Icepaw, I hope your mentors will pass down their skills and knowledge to you."

(Yeah, well, Sunpaw and Icepaw don't know the traditional words, do they? =P)
Shadepaw's tail shot straight up. Yes! It was happening! He was now a full apprentice!

(Lol, Blackstripe's grouchy, Icepaw's grouchy, perfect mentor for Icepaw! X3)

Sunpaw and Icepaw left to see the territory with Pebbleheart and Blackstripe. "Shadepaw, would you like to see the territory as well, or do you want to hunt?" she asked.

(They're a match made in heaven! X3)
"I'd rather hunt." Shadepaw said, and then added quickly, "If that's okay."

Bearclaw padded over to Piercingstar. "I'd like to go as well, if that's alright."
"Okay," she meowed. "We can see if the rabbits are still around." She padded out of camp, going towards Tallpines where the rabbits usually hid.

Shadepaw padded after her. He couldn't believe it... His mentor was the leader! Piercingstar raised her tail to signal Shadepaw to stop as they came close to the Tallpines.
