Yugi continued to keep the egg in the shadows. Shaking from excitement, Yugi stared at the egg, close to hatching.

Ace took his egg to a meadow he sat with it talking for hours.

"I love... this egg..." He said, staring at it for hours. A small crack was visible on the shell. Yugi's eyes widened. "Please! Soon, it will hatch."

Yugi's egg shook a lot and started to crack open. A shiny Zorua came out and spotted Yugi.
Acerios's Carvanha had a golden glow to it.

Acerios smiled as he held up his new Carvanha which glowed golden, "Nice, so meet my new friend! Welcome to the party Quatic!" he said as he let Quatic swim throughout the water.

Yugi opened his eyes very wide as the Zorua took a step closer. Letting the Zorua come to him, Yugi's eyes sparkled at the newborn pokémon.

If your egg is hatched by page five you can go back to the egg shop on page 5. You should try to train you're newly hatched Pokemon.

Acerios bonded with Quatic by a hour long swimming session, "Nice to take a swim every once in a while!" he said.

A problem arose. Acerios couldn't swim forever though. Quatic needs water. "Hey man. Some old guy wants to send you something through the PC at the Pokemon Center." One of Acerios's fans said. The old man sent a berry for Quatic to eat. "It will permanently hydrate him." The old man said.

Yugi picked up Zorua, and had spotted a guy with a Carvanha. "Weird." He thought. He passed on, hoping the guy would ask to battle him.

Acerios swam back and received the berry, as he fed it to Quatic he smiled as he now could take his pet everywhere. Acerios snuggled with Quatic as he took a rest at the Pokemon Center.

"How odd..." Yugi thought, "He takes it to the Pokémon Center right after it hatches..." "Hey, Lucian, ya wanna battle that trainer?" Yugi asked. "Zor, ua, zooruuua!" Lucian cried.

Acerios woke up to find a case of tribal paint on him, as he looked in the mirror he looked like a human Carvanha. "Well, this is strange..." he said to himself looking at Quatic.

Yugi had ran into a wild Ralts. "Lucian, Go!"
Lucian uses Faint Attack. Ralts loses 3 HP. (Ralts- 9/12)

"Lucian, you look hurt, let's take you to the Pokémon Center." Yugi said, resting his pokémon.
