Acerios nodded as he looked everywhere for the egg belonging to the female. He quickly found it soaked in mud behind a bush. He picked it up and returned it.

Yugi sat on the rock, still near the creek. He hummed a tune, and looked at his reflection in the water. Zorua did too. He smiled as he hummed.

Back at the restaurant Cheren payed for everyone's meals. He then saw Yugi and said "You obviously know a lot of pokemon. I will be expecting you at my gym." He then walked over to Rose. "Your egg will hatch very soon, but I'm not sure it will like you very much." Cheren said. Cheren walked over Acerios. "You are an excellent pokemon trainer. I'm sure you will be one of the best pokemon trainers ever. If you ever need my call me." Cheren said as he registered his number in the Xtranceiver. Cheren walked back to the gym waiting to be challenged.

Acerios nodded, he then began his journey to the Virbank Gym, as he did he bonded with his new egg and trained Quatic.

Acerios: Quatic level 15. Egg 5/10
Yugi: Lucian level. 10 Yugi can pick up another egg at the egg shop
Rose: Egg 9/10

Acerios stopped in the midst of some trees due to the sun setting, as he stopped he set up a tent and fire. He, Quatic, and the egg both sat around the fire. Acerios started singing some tunes, soon the tree's were full of listening Pokemon.

A Chatot stopped to listen. Then it started to squawk at Acerios and his pokemon. "Boo! Listen to Roxie! Roxie is the best!" The Chatot squawked.

Acerios threw Quatic at the Chatot with Bite, he then burst into what could be heard as a rap. "Hey so-so you think your opinion matters to me? Well-Well here's the truth, what you say won't hurt me!" he said as the fire crackled.

Chatot flew away in the direction of Virbank city. It tried to poop on Acerios to teach him a lesson, but missed and it landed on the fire; putting it out.

Acerios sighed as he held his egg tight, Quatic washed away the feces by splashing in a nearby pond. Acerios then started a new fire, "Chatot jerk..." he said as he did.

The sun went down and the only light was from the fire. Even the lights of Virbank were off. A group of 5 Houndour came into the campsite sniffing around.

Acerios quickly protected the egg with himself, "If your here to hurt my Pokemon you'll have to get through me first!" he said bravely.

The Houndour looked at Acerios confused for a moment. Then the pack started rummaging through the campsite for food.

Acerios realized that they weren't, "Alright let me help!" he said as he led them to a berry bush.

The Houndour started to follow Acerios to the berry bush. The pack of Houndour ate all of the berries. When they were done eating they set the bush on fire with Ember. They fire started to spread.
