Acerios shook his head, "No!" he yelled as he threw rocks onto the fire and put it out.

The pack was upset at Acerios. They lashed out at Acerios, but quickly left. They went near the campsite and laid down and slept there.

Acerios went back at dawn and packed up his stuff, then they headed to Virbank City.

The Houndour from the night woke up early. (Early bird as their ability.) They were guarding the entrance to Virbank. They were blocking people from entering or leaving the city unless they give the pack some food.

Acerios found them again, "Oh so your just food hoarders eh?" he said. He and Quatic charged at the pack, Quatic was given a Rare Candy. Quatic attacked with Ice Fang while Acerios fought head on with them.

The pack fought the duo. The pack wasn't very strong. But during the fight one of the Houndour jumped up and stole the egg. Another one of the Houndour didn't want to fight and just looked for food.

Acerios noticed it right away, "I won't let you!" he said as he dash slid to the Houndour and attempted to kick it twice.

The Houndour left the duo alone after that. They were cut and bruised from the fighting. The pack headed in the grass near Virbank. They weakly growled at Acerios and Quatic, but kept their distance. During the fight Quatic grew 2 levels.

Acerios retrieved his egg and headed to Virbank's Pokemon Center with Quatic. "They were, a challenge weren't they?" said Acerios.

The pack of Houndour went to the pokemon center. They stayed away from Acerios and Quatic. They went to Nurse Joy who went "Oh, you poor things. Here let me heal you up." One of the Houndour stayed back outside of the pokemon center. A jogger saw it and said, "Hey look at that Houndour! I bet its name is Moon Moon." and jogged away.

Acerios noticed the pack, "Nurse Joy! Wait they were blocking the entrance to the city, also one of them stole my egg! In the end we got in and I got my egg back but we had to win a scrap with them." he told Joy.

"They were a part of a huge pokemon smuggling act a year ago. These Houndour were stolen from their trainer in Johto and were smuggled here. They broke free, but they don't trust much humans. So they can't get a trainer to take care of them. They stole and begged for food. They stole precious items from people and traded it back for food. That's why they stole your egg. I'm sorry that caused so much trouble." Nurse Joy said. "Hmm, I'm sure that there is suppose to be 5 Houndour, but there is only 4 here." Nurse Joy said.

Acerios headed outside to find one of them out there, "I'm sorry bout the scrap." he said as he picked it up and handed it to Nurse Joy.

Nurse Joy thanked Acerios and healed the Houndour. When she was done the Houndour instead of reuniting with the pack dashed out of the Pokemon Center. It crashed into Acerios on its way out.

Acerios didn't mind, "Hey, I know your history. I'm sorry for the scrap..." he told them. After which he played with the egg and Quatic.
